The Perfect Baby Handbook in Los Angeles—Two nights only!
Saturday, May 16th, 2009
Come ye, tanned parents! As you read this, I am flying across the great plains to L.A., where I’ll be doing a couple of book events in your general vicinity. And I’d be stoked to meet anyone who reads the blog. Here are your options:
1) Sunday, May 17: Come ye at 7 p.m. to Book Soup in West Hollywood, where I’ll be delivering a fully illustrated lecture on the ins and outs of perfect babydom. By “lecture,” I mean “rollicking and non-sedating chat.” Book Soup, 8818 W. Sunset Blvd.. www.booksoup.com
2) Monday, May 18: Come ye at 7 pm to the Edendale Grill in Silver Lake. This more cocktaily event, billed as “An Evening of Ukulele and Perfect Babies,” unfolds on the back patio. My co-host Dan Crane will be adapting parts of the book for voice and ukulele. I’ll be reading. Stop by and get a book signed. Or just to stare. The Edendale Grill, 2838 Rowena Avenue. www.edendalegrill.com.
